There are 60 kind of mammals, 500 kinds of birds, 90 kinds of reptiles, 30 kinds of amphibians, almost 150 kinds of freshwater fish, and 17,600 named insects believed to live around Taiwan. Some of these are deer, wild boars, monkeys, goats, and panthers, pheasants and geese. |
